Financial Aid answers
Enrolling in 6-units allows students eligible for Financial Aid to pay for TTP. Remember that to be eligible for a summer aid package, you must submit both your 2022-2023 and 2023-2024FAFSAs.
Yes, you will work with an Academic Counselor who will facilitate your successful transition to UC Berkeley. The Academic Counselor will help you develop an individualized academic plan, provide guidance on course selection, help manage your financial aid, and identify enrichment, research and career opportunities.

TTP staff is invested in your success. The ES 194 instructors offer office hours to meet individually with students to address their specific questions and provide focused instruction and support. Additionally, TTP peer mentors have designated time to meet with you.
Yes, TTP courses will be held in person this summer.

There is no housing provided for TTP students. Students interested in housing are encouraged to check https://housing.berkeley.edu/.

Yes, the courses we offer in TTP are UC Berkeley courses, taught during Summer Session D, the second 6-week Summer Session, (July 5 – August 12, 2022.) The 6-week courses are typically taught over the course of a semester. The grades you receive will appear on your official transcript.
By joining TTP, you will get a jump start on and facilitate your transition to UC Berkeley. You will learn how UC Berkeley is structured and organized so you will be well-positioned to pursue your intellectual interests, achieve academic success, work with faculty, and engage in research. Additionally, you will meet other transfer students with whom you will form friendships and study partnerships.
